What areas do you serve?
We are based in Rocky Hill, CT and serve surrounding communities. Recurring maintenance is typically offered within a shorter drive radius, while larger landscaping and hardscaping projects are available throughout a wider surrounding area. If you are not sure whether you are in range, just reach out and we will confirm quickly.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We offer free estimates, and in many cases we can provide a same-day estimate depending on the schedule and season.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. OBEE Landscaping & Outdoor Design is fully licensed and insured.
How soon can you start?
Start times depend on the season and the type of work. Routine mowing schedules fill up fastest during peak growing months, while hardscape and landscape projects are scheduled based on scope, weather, and material availability. Once we review your project, we will give you a clear timeline.
Do you provide weekly lawn mowing?
Yes. We offer weekly mowing plans. We will recommend the best schedule based on how your lawn grows and what you want it to look like throughout the season.
What is included with lawn mowing service?
Most mowing visits include mowing, trimming around obstacles, edging along hard surfaces, and blowing grass clippings off walkways and driveways. Exact inclusions can vary by property, so we confirm scope during your estimate.
Can you help design my landscaping, or do I need to know exactly what I want?
You do not need to have everything figured out. We can help you shape the plan, recommend layouts and materials, and guide plant and bed design based on your goals, maintenance preferences, and what works best in Connecticut.
Do you install paver patios and walkways?
Yes. We install brick pavers for patios, walkways, and other hardscape features. Proper base prep and drainage planning are a major focus so the finished product holds up through Connecticut freeze and thaw cycles.
Do you build retaining walls?
Yes. We build retaining walls to stabilize slopes, prevent erosion, and create cleaner, more usable outdoor spaces. We also factor in drainage behind the wall, which is critical for long-term performance.
Do you install drainage solutions for standing water?
Yes. If you have pooling water, soggy turf, washouts, or runoff issues, we can evaluate the problem and recommend a drainage solution that fits your yard. We are an NDS Professional Drainage Certified Contractor.
Do you work on irrigation systems?
We can help with irrigation-related needs depending on the scope. If you have an existing system that is not watering evenly or needs adjustments, we can review it and recommend the right next step.
Do you offer commercial services?
Yes. We provide commercial landscaping services, and we also offer commercial snow and ice management during the winter season.
Do you do residential snow plowing?
No. Snow and ice management is currently offered for commercial properties only.
Do you remove large trees?
We handle small-to-medium tree trimming and removal. We do not climb trees and we do not take on large, high-risk tree work. If your project requires a specialized tree crew, we will tell you up front.
How do payments and scheduling work?
After we finalize your scope and schedule, we will confirm the service plan and any key expectations before work begins. For larger projects, payment structure can vary by scope, and we will clearly outline it during your estimate.
